Coach Hart's Products
Coach David Hart of Camas, Washington has ridden and raced since 1996 on the road and dirt. He knows how to balance a working athlete who has a family and other daily needs. In addition to being a coach, he is also holds an AAS Fitness Trainer degree, is a certified personal trainer through NSCA (National Strength and Sports Conditioning), and a yoga instructor (YogaFit). Coach Hart emphasizes increased performance through better nutrition and Corrective Exercises to prevent injury and improve the overall athlete. In the fall, he promotes several cyclocross races in the Grand Prix Series.
Background: David first started riding the trails with his mountain bike in 1995 and then added road cycling to be part of club rides a year later. After ten years in Seattle, he moved near Portland, OR and continued with the cycling and added running events to cross train.
David has participated regularly in the Master category in cycling and has competed in Northwest stage races such as the Mt. Hood Classic and Elkhorn Stage Race. He has also participates in organized events such as the Ride Around Clark County and Seattle to Portland bike ride. He tries to do as many running events the local running club puts on in the fall and summer with a 25k trail event being his target race every February.
"When I first signed up for coaching, I was road racing in novice and barely able to hang on to the pack for the entire race. In cyclocross races, I would get lapped every race in the beginner's field.
